Fever again

Baby boy had fever again this two day. No sign of teething but temperature remain at ard 37.9-38.8 Celsius. No flu or cough, just not sure what happen. Even give him the medicine, it didn't help much too. Hope that he gets well soon.

Jun Hong really loves to read and see anything related to car, truck, bus. When in the car, usually just give him a car brouchure then will keep him occupied.

Jun Hong always don't spend alot of time playing his own toys. He always prefer actual things around. Now he is interested to play bowls and plates in the kitchen. Love to see him playing that. Alot of learning opportunity.

Getting active

Jun Hong been getting really active and playful recently. Constantly he wants people to talk to him, give him attention and love to play hide and seek and chasing with us. We really need to fill ourselves up with energy before playing with him.

Fall from the Bed

These few days daddy will be in Hard Rock Penang having meetings. So left me and baby boy sleep alone. Last night I slept on daddy's side and Jun Hong on my side but I pulled the cot to block the bed.

This morning I ears the cot moved and baby boy fall down from bed. I think he pushed the cot away and called down. Cried a little but gave him milk and comfort him to sleep again.

Btw, last night check up shown that I'm having a baby girl! Roar! A tigeress!

Daddy and Mummy

Recently Jun Hong just start to call u daddy and mummy. Love it so much when hear this. He always call my MIL mama. So I prefer him calling me mummy instead.

Jun Hong teething

On Friday night, Jun Hong has a slight fever. We suspect he is teething. Get him open his mouth and can see few teeth wanna pop up from his lower gum.

On Friday night, Jun Hong has a slight fever. We suspect he is teething. Get him open his mouth and can see few teeth wanna pop up from his lower gum. We gave him the fever medicine and it subside later. On Saturday, his body temperature on and off ard 38 to 38.3/4. As his temperature went up, we gave him the fever medicine.

Sunday we went back to Raub to celebrate popo's birthday. It's very hot and Jun Hong has been quite cranky and manja. His temperature also quite high. No much appertite too. Later at night, he cried few time before sleep and during sleep. I have to calm him down each time. I think he woke up at leat three or four time. Keep complaining pain pain in his mouth.

The next morning, after his breakfast he fall asleep at ard 9.30 and woke up four hours later. He must be very tired. My MIL did give him some fever medicine but still on and off didn't subside 100%. He also has some cough and running nose. Later at night me and MIL bring Jun Hong to clinic.

In the clinic, there one child dignose with H1N1, we were so scare cause we were in the same waiting area with this family.

Doctor Gan gave him a medicine to put in his anal to reduce the temperature. She asked us to monitor his temperature the next day. If it's still high we need to give him antibiotic. She also prescribe us some gel to smooth the gum.

Later that night he sleeps better but still has few cries in the middle of night. Still has running nose and cough.

The next day Jun Hong looks ok but in the evening his temperature didnt went up, we thought can skip the antibiotic but the next day his flu and cough getting worse so MIL has to start him with antibiotic.

Today is the last day he took his antibiotic, no more fever and flu and cough has been better. At night we have to sleep with fan. Which he didn't sleep well last night cause of hot. Toss and turn few time.

When I look in his mouth, his gum not so swell and less red. Guess Jun Hong will get well pretty soon.

Just wanted to see his active normal self, run here and there, talkative and kehpoh baby boy!

Helping hands

Everynight when baba is taking his bath, once Jun Hong heard the shower stop, pulling curtain he would want to rush in front of the bath room holding daddy's tshirt waiting for him to open his door and hand him the tshirt.

Jungle trekking

I brought a cap from Hatyaai for Jun Hong. We let him wear when we were out for our jungle trekking in Bukit Gasing with Amanda, Pacco and Ah Chan.




Usually he doesn't like to wear cap. Now become very ai-mei

Our maid dorince was detected with OTB. we have to send her back. Today I took a half day off buy bank demand draft, get some gift for her children and exchange money for her. From on till next 3 months, we are maidless. Less sleep less rest!

Nowadays Jun Hong really like to look at mirror especially he knows that he is wearing a new cloths, or I have put something different on his body. He will ask for the cupboard door to open and observe himself on the mirror. Baba called him Mr Vein, very ai-mei :-) love to see him looking at mirror, making faces and doing lots of action.

Evening Sickness

For this pregnancy, evernight sickness or I should say it's a hungry sickness is quite severe. Whenever I feel hungry, my stomach will be full of air that make me feel nausea and wanted to throw up. My breast has been very full and growing in size. The syntom is so different vs when I'm pregnant with Jun Hong. There's discharge mixed with blood for the first three months. But after doctor scan and check up, everything is ok.

Fall down from the bed

Everynight Jun Hong is sleeping on out bed. By 8pm we will bring him up to the room, bath him and play with him. Usually around 930pm I will turn off the light to get him ready to sleep. He will suck his thumb, toss and turn, drink milk and fall asleep. Hoe fast he fall asleep depends on how long is his evening nap. If he sleep and wake up late, then it will take him longer to fall asleep at night. Because of pregnancy, I feel very tired easily. So sometime before he sleeps, I already fall asleep. Sunday night, I fall asleep while he still toss and turn. Suddenly 'bang', he fall off from bed. A big bump coming out from his forehead. I feel so guilty for not taking good care of him. MIL scolded me in the morning. She said why not let him sleep in his bed. She even suggested to co-sleep with her which is a no-no to me. Will take extra care next time. So sorry for the pain baby Jun Hong.

Dear baby Jun Hong,

Mummy will be away from home for four day. You be good at home, eat well sleep well and listen to daddy and mama ok? Mummy loves you. Hope can get you new shoe and toy from Bangkok.

All the shoe that we have brought for Jun Hong seems not fitting well now. He is soon out grow the size. Time to get a new pair of Kai-kai shoe for him :-)

Jun Hong nowadays like to follow what we have said. He will usually copy words what we had said, mainly single syllybus or the most two. Words that he said are apple, money, ball, car, Goh-Goh,Jie-jie, baba, mama, popo, kakak, gaga, cut, ants, tak tau, mana, turn, press(w/o the s sound), wow wow, mieat, mum mum, nian nian, wet wet, walk walk, good,clock,cheese, pen, opened,

It's so amaze to see him learn everyday. Just love to hear him picking up new words everyday.

Doctor Tan

Last Saturday morning, we left home very early to visit obstetrics in UMSC. We decided to change to a new doctor cause Dr Fong was too quiet and has very few words during every consultancy. Dr PC Tan was introduce to us through a friend. So we decided to give him a try.

Initially we thought that UMSC was in Hospital Malaya itself. So we went inside, saw the sign board and the road was quite narrow. DH drop us off in the building and me and Jun Hong went straight in.

The condition in the hospital was quite bad. Building quite old though very spacious. I am so used to private hospital's condition so I find that here is not so appealing. I didn'tanage to find the clinics but just the UMSC wards. The nurses told us that the clinics was at another building. So I quickily called DH and he came and pick us up again.

Finally we manage to find the clinics. It was the next traffic light turn right (if u are coming from federal hightway). We thought we might miss Jun Hong's music class but the waiting time was not long. Soon it was my turn.

Dr Tan has a round face and a Teddy bear body shape. He asked us few basic question like tell him about my previous pregnancy, when is my last period and have I done my ptenancy test. Then he said it's still early stage, so he will not do any pregnancy test to me as it's the same result like what will I get when I do my home pregnancy test. He also said that pregnancy in early stage, there's no medicine to protect the feotus. If the baby is not healthy, it will die automatically. He suggest we come when I was 8weeks then he can scan and take a look on the baby. He asked whether we need to do the ultra sound we said it's ok as it's still in early stage. At last he asked me to continue taking my colic acid and see him in 3 weeks time.

We are planning for second baby lately and been very hard working especially during my fertile period. Right after my period finish in January we start working on it. And in February, there's no sign of period so I brought a pregnancy test. Amongst so many brands, only one brand that I recognize- Dip n Tell. It says can be used even before period due.

So once I got home, I quickily use it and immediately first line appear. I didn't wait long for the second line to appear and discard the urine. When I relook at the test result, I saw a very very faded second line. Then I wonder whether I have done the test correctly or not.

So I read the intruction again and it said to confirm not pregnant I should wait for at least 5 mins. Opps... Wasted one test kit. Anyway, I have another one so I will try it the next morning. It said morning will have high Hgc.

The next morning I tried it and it showed




Positive!!!!

Jun Hung gonna have a brother/sister.

Btw, I did 求签 in the Guan Yin temple. It said a positive result too. Even the feng Sui master also said I'm gonna pregnant.
Time to get more vitamins and good food.

3rd day of Chinese New Year

3rd day of Chinese New year usually we don't have any plan except will go to guan yin temple in Klang for a prayers and pay the donation for Jun Hong 契仔 prayers.

2nd Day of Chinese New Year

On the second day of Chinese New Year, the married daughter will need to go back to her parents house. Although I go back to my parents there every Sunday, this day also mark a very special day for us ad we not only go back to my parent's house, we will go back to Raub my parents hometown too.

Jun Hong got up as usual this morning. After washed his face and brushed his teeth I quickily bring him down for his breakfast. After we settle everything- bath, packed, put things in car and dressed up, mum already called to ask where are we. DH become a F1 driver and rushed to my parents place in Cheras within 30 mins ( usually took us 40 mins or more).

We greeted my parents and Jun Hong start to look abit cranky cause he is feeling tired and sleepy. This year mum said she cannot give angpao cause grandfather passed away last year. We are not suppose to celebrate any festive. She gave Jun Hong RM 100, consider a pocket money for him.

Later we left to Raub. This year really strange as the traffic quite heavy. It's a bumper to bumper near Genting exit and Bentong town. Mum keep nagging us and said we should leave early. Bla bla bla... Oh well, I told DH that next year we will leave early, just hope that his mother will not be black face.

We reached father's house around 12. Jun Hong doozed off to sleep half way. We left him sleep in the car while parents and brothers went in to say hello. After Jun Hong woke up, we let him walk around for a while. He got attracked to this toy car. We should seriously consider to buy one for him.

After having lunch there which I didn't eat alot cause of my allergy. Grandmother looks quite weak and she has no appertite to eat. Then we were off to 大姨 house in 新芭力。Her house was full of her grand children, Jun Hong even met his 表哥 who took his first kiss when he was 2months plus.

We just stayed for a while then off to our last stop in 观莲姨's house. When we arrived, everyone were there like 舅舅，招泰姨 and her children and 观莲姨's children.

We quickily get Jun Hong settle down, bathed him and feed him lunch at the wet kitchen while 观莲姨 and her husband preparing our dinner.

After his lunch, we quickily put Jun Hong to take his nap via the sarong. My cousin sister was amazed the number of things that we brought along. The sarong and high chair... Well, this time is better than our visit to Cameron, almost moved the whole house there.

Jun Hong has a solid one and half hour sleep. After than we went to the Guan Yin temple to pray.

Dinner at 观莲姨 house was great.Jun Hong loves the soup too. He had soup with some rice and fish for dinner. We left 观莲姨 house shortly after dinner. On the way back, Jun Hong didn't sleep at all. When we reach Cheras, mum and dad who follow my car did not have the keys with them. So we waited another 10 mins for my brother to arrive.

We reache Shah Alam around 11pm. When Jun Hong settled down and sleep, it already 12am. He must be having a real GOOD afternoon nap :-))

First Day of Chinese New Year

14 Feb 2010 was the first day of Chinese New Year. Like last year, we will go to the Temple for a simple prayers. Afte having our vegetarian breakfast, we head down to Guan Yin temple in PJ. When we hot into Federal Highway, the road was really jammed. It could be accident happen cause it's really rare jam will happen in the city centre. So DH used small road to get to the temple.

Once we reached the temple, it was packed cause there was some prayers going on in the main temple by monks. MIL and DH went to light cresence and pray while mr and Jun Hong line up to pray.

Each of us got a angpao and some kam in return.

Then we head to our second destination-舅父's house in Klang. DH counsin was having a open house inviting all her colleagues from bank to visit her house. As usual, they cater the food but we can't eat alot cause we were on vegetarian the whole day.

The house was packed with people and Jun Hong feeling abit restless. Maybe he has missed his morning nap. He didn't even finish his morning milk and don't want to eat his lunch too. He just wanted to stick with me. I managed to sway him to sleep in my arms.

We didn't stay long in her house. So we head on to 堂姐's house in Klang too. Her place was much comfy cause less people. Jun Hong woke up once we arrived Angeline's house. We had some 糖水, biscuit and fruits at her place. Jun Hong feeling more at ease cause her grand children was there. Jun Hong can play with them.

Out last stop was 姨妈's house in USJ. at her place, Jun Hong has alot of place to walk around. He even had his evening milk there too. So after that we went back home and called it a day.
